United Way of McDonough County

Founded in 1957, The McDonough County United Way fights for the Health, Education and Financial Stability of every person in every community. The McDonough County United Way provides funding to 20 local, non-profit agencies in McDonough County. The McDonough County United Way annually provides over 13,000 McDonough County residents with services from United Way funded programs. In addition to providing funding to 20 local programs, the McDonough County United Way is proud to partner with Ike Leighty and the Community Foundation of Northeast Iowa to provide the Mother Moon Scholarship. This scholarship is based on service and volunteerism. In 2016, 5 students were selected to receive $1000 each toward their higher education.
