McDonough Democrat

The McDonough Democrat, established in 1884, is a small hometown newspaper published weekly and full of local news, pictures and advertisements for the Bushnell, Prairie City, Avon and the surrounding communities in and around McDonough County.  Like many other small town newspapers, the McDonough Democrat is correspondent supported, and relies heavily on people in the surrounding area to provide the news from their community.
