Owned by the City of Macomb as a water reservoir, the versatility of Spring Lake is also shown by its recreational activities offered by the Macomb Park District. Washroom facilities, showers, electrical and water hook-ups are available for campers. Spring Lake is adjacent to the Macomb Park District's Lakeview Nature area where you can enjoy a nice hike in the timber, prairie or wetland. There is also a nature center for you to visit or rent out for an event.
